Apollo playing lyre
  • How do the bow and lyre exhibit an 'unapparent harmony'?
  • Are the contradictions Heraclitus sets forth really contradictions?

For many senior capstone, I am currently writing a paper on Heraclitus and the harmony of opposites.  The paper is not yet done.  (Honestly, a written form of the paper is not yet started -- it all exists in my head still!)  The first draft was due April 2, 2001, but this project has been so much fun and so time-consuming that I have not yet gotten to it.  The final draft is due April 30, 2001, so it will be finished and up in this spot by then.  Until then, enjoying reading the individual fragments and comments under other categories.  (See e.g. Water/River | Fire | Animals | Justice and Strife | Identity of Contraries)
