Most editors recognize the phrase ὄνους σύρματ' ἂν ἑλέσθαι μᾶλλον ἢ χρυσόν (asses prefer straw to gold) as Heraclitus', and the rest as comments by Aristotle. The translation of Aristotle's comments comes from Terrance Irwin's translation of Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics.
